let's talk about

teaching our kids about God.

here's what I know:

As a parent, I'm learning that there really is no higher calling than to help my children develop their own personal connection with God.

This truth keeps me on my knees and in my Bible daily!

I want to live boldly and transparently for Christ and to do everything I can to show my kids what authentic faith can look like in today's world.

And yet, I fall short. All. The. Time. I'm guessing you do too?

If so, I want to encourage you that you don't have to be a perfect Christian mom (because they don't exist). I certainly am not (that's why "grace over guilt" is a motto I practice daily).

We don't have to have it all figured out in order to be the moms (and daughters of God) who teach their kids about God. We just need to be connected, growing women who depend on Him.

#1 Recommended Resource

We must teach our kids about online purity if they are to grow up to be strong Christ-followers. That's why I highly recommend Covenant Eyes to any family wanting to teach their kids about God.

Our family has used Covenant Eyes for over 6 years now and it is the best internet filtering and accountability on the market, bar none. Covenant Eyes not only filters out the bad stuff but it sends you a weekly log of all apps and sites your kids accessed (or attempted to access) so that you can know exactly where they go (and how long they spend) online. Covenant Eyes works on phones, tablets and laptops--all their devices.

I can't say enough good things about Covenant Eyes! It's something every parent should have in their home to keep everyone accountable online. Go here to learn more.
