Day 8 Video: "The Power of Little Miracles & Heartfelt Praise"

The Power of Little Miracles and Heartfelt Praise”

Today's Questions to Consider:

What evidences of God's character (what we could call "little miracles") do you see in your life right now?

Are they obvious? Or are they more hidden? And what is your heart's response as you think about them?

Consider these questions today as we start off our time together.

P.S. After watching the video maybe you were left asking, “Does God always bring the fulfillment of His promises in our lifetimes?” The answer is no. We may not see his promises fulfilled while we are alive, but that doesn't mean that they won't happen.

Consider the Israelites. There were centuries full of Israelite people who longed for the Messiah but never saw Him while they were alive on this earth. You can read more about this in Hebrews 11.

So here's the takeaway: We may not see every promise fulfilled in this life, but God simply wants us to have the faith to believe that He will fulfill the promise eventually.  Even if we don’t see the answer to it in this life, as followers of God we will be united with Him in heaven and finally then be able to understand the big picture in regards to when each promise will be fulfilled.

maybe you were left asking “Does God always bring the fulfillment of His promises in our lifetimes?” The answer is no. We may not see his promises fulfilled while we are alive.

Now, in the case of the Israelites (and in the case of some of the promises in our life) we may not see the fulfillment in our lifetime. I mean—there were centuries of Israelites who longed for Messiah but never saw him while they were alive on this earth. But just having the faith to believe that God will fulfill the promise is all He asks of us (Hebrews 11—known as the hall of faith—talks about that). Even if we don’t see the answer to it in this life, as followers of God we will be united in Him in the next life and have his full understanding.)

Identify the things you’re waiting for right now.

What are your thoughts about them? How have you dealt with your time “in the waiting room”? Have you been frustrated? Angry? Exhausted? Bored? Filled with disbelief? Asking why over and over?
